Global Software Services, Inc. Chosen by New York Times

Levittown, NY (Oct. 11, 2004) -- Global Software Services, Inc (GSSI) was recently selected by the New York Times as its collection software provider. The New York Times has been using collection software to expedite delinquent account operations since 1986 and selected GSSI's Latitude product to replace a legacy system that was no longer meeting the company's expanding needs. Latitude was chosen for its extensive feature set, along with the flexibility to integrate data from 20 associated newspaper systems. Approximately 55 users are now live after the initial conversion, with over 100 users projected to be online within the next 18 to 24 months.

"Latitude Software is what we hope it would be," said John Moravich, computer systems analyst for the New York Times. "The company can now consolidate and track invoices and balances on accounts from the individual newspaper collection accounts we handle. GSSI created a custom interface that allows staff to view invoice information received from the account owner, with the ability to specify additional information unique to their business. In addition, the company was able to create a custom scan line to their letter processes to replace functionality they were previously outsourcing to a letter vendor."

Global Software Services, Inc has seen its client base more than double in the last year. Its innovative collection software product lien is based on industry experience and built using the latest technologies. The core product Latitude, offers a complete collection solution for all agency types. Additional products, such as Latitude CS (a web based client access portal), Latitude AIM (Agency Interface Module for placement/recall/reassignment of accounts to external resources), Debt Buyer and Latitude Scan (automated document image capture), have enabled Global Software to continue becoming an industry leader in advanced technology solutions.
