Job Summary:
Reviews, analyzes, maintains and modifies approved changes to programs, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the company’s database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers requirements from users and creates specifications and develops code.
- Designs and writes codes to support existing application.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Create or modify programs to satisfy client requests based on specifications received; high-quality completion of written deliverables.
- Create, test and deploy interfaces related to company’s software for clients; monitor performance of program after implementation.
- Communicate status of assignments accurately to project manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- Education & Experience: May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Leadership Skills:
- PC Proficient
- Basic knowledge of some or all of SQL, XML, C#, VB6, Crystal Reports
- Proficient with Windows operating system and Internet Browser applications.
- Skill Set: Good communication skills; self-starter; highly organized; detail-oriented; efficient; solid work ethic; ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
- Competencies: Customer-focused; results-driven; ability to work independently and as part of team; ability to meet deadlines.
